FM REALTORS® is looking for one (1) member to serve on the Home Builders Care Board of Trustees and one (1) or more to serve on the Home Builders Care Fundraising Committee.

Home Builders Care Board of Trustees
Trustees serve for two 3-year terms before requiring a one-year break.
The board of trustees meets every other month (January, March, May, July, September and November).
Meetings are typically on the first or second Wednesday, 11:30am-1:00pm at the BIA office.
Typical agenda items:
• Review donation/project requests that are housing-related in the community
• Discuss upcoming fundraisers
• Discuss workforce development efforts such as:
o Scholarships
o Herdina Trades Camp
o Health, Tech & Trades Career Expo
Home Builders Care Fundraising Committee
The fundraising committee meets monthly Sept-March (for Giving Hearts Day) and every other month April-August.
Meetings are typically on the first or second Wednesday at 10:30-11:30am at the BIA office. When there is also a board of trustees meeting, we usually have the fundraising committee meet right before the board meeting.
Responsible for coordinating HBC’s fundraising efforts such as:
• Giving Hearts Day
• Fundraising at BIA Member Events such as the Golf Outings, Happy Hours and Picnics
