Jim Fay was a real estate icon.  His real estate career began in 1953 until his death in 2011 at the age of 82.  Jim was a past President of FM REALTORS, was REALTOR of the Year in 1962 and was the first recipient of the FM REALTORS Distinguished Service Award in 1992.  Jim was a true professional in real estate and in his service to others.  The Jim Fay Award is given to an individual who represents the spirit of honesty, integrity and ethics in business dealings and beyond.  This is not a top sales award but rather a Top Character Award.  It is presented to individuals that signify the exemplary spirit that Jim Fay brought to our local real estate industry.
